Fast Track Racing announced today that ARCA Menards driver Zachary Tinkle will drive for them full time in the ARCA Menards Series East Championship in 2023. Tinkle competed half of the 2022 ARCA Menards season for Fast Track Racing and earned 9th place in the championship rankings overall. In previous years, Tinkle competed in and won multiple championships in late model divisions. He also has been named Rookie of the Year at multiple venues.
Zachary Tinkle credits Fast Track Racing’s owner Andy Hillenburg with the opportunity he needed to compete last year. “This gave me the chance to get to know him and the team,” Tinkle commented. “I have full confidence in them and I think we’ve put together a great program for 2023 and I can’t wait to get back to the race track.”
Tinkle will compete in each of the ARCA Menards East series’ eight short track races as the wheelman for Fast Track Racing’s number 11 car. “I’m very honored that Andy trusts me to run Fast Track’s flagship number. I take great pride and responsibility to living up to the history,” Tinkle added. Races will be streamed live on FloRacing with delayed replays on USA Network.
Off the racetrack, Tinkle supports causes near and dear to his heart through the Zachary Tinkle Foundation. One of his most favorite causes is pet rescue efforts. Last season’s publicity photo for Tinkle includes a pug named Zuzu LaRue. He is also an active marketer for himself and his team, bringing in sponsors like Pet Fashion Guild and Pizza King of Indiana. When asked about Zachary Tinkle coming on board, Hillenburg reflected, “There are a lot of great up and coming drivers, but once in a while, one gets a little closer to your heart. I’ve watched Zachary since early on in his career and he has done very well with having to do it the hard way – much like myself earlier in my career. I really want to see what Zachary can do with a solid and planned effort. This is going to be a fun year!”
