Pit Pass Network Interview: Mandy Chick

Hailing from DeSoto, Kansas, Mandy Chick might be a young driver, but her racing roots go deep as she follows in the footsteps of her father and grandfather.

Her ARCA Menards Series debut came last July at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway. One month later, Chick was one of six females racing at Milwaukee Mile – a historic moment for the sport.

Most recently, Chick finished fifth in the 2023 ARCA season opener at Daytona International Speedway. As her website bio reads, she is definitely a “force to be taken seriously.”

Not only does she know her way around the race track, but also the race car. When not behind the wheel, Chick is in school studying mechanical engineering.

Mandy asked that her Pit Pass Network donation go to Keeper’s Legacy. The mission of Keeper’s Legacy is to “equip parents and coaches with the tools, guidance, and inspiration to build stronger, more successful children and relationships.”

She has partnered with this organization on her speaking tour, Drive to Inspire where she addresses topics such as being a driven individual, having clear goals, self-confidence, and perseverance to audiences of middle and high school students.

Love Mandy Chick and her enthusiasm. She was so much fun to listen to during the Arca race. I followed Alan Kulwicki, also a mechanical engineer, and trailblazer in NASCAR. Mandy reminds me a lot of him. Keep up the great work!
