Clinching Scenarios: Craftsman Truck Series – Richmond

It may be only July, but for the Craftsman Truck Series that means the end of the regular season. Going into Richmond there are still a few Driver/Owner playoff spots still up for grabs based on points. Oh, there is also the race for the regular season Driver Championship as well. After this race only 10 drivers and 10 owners will be in contention for the first Craftsman Truck Series Championship since 2008. Below are the scenarios in which no matter what happens in the race Saturday, if the scenario happens then the ticket is punched to the playoffs. Likely the drivers will not need this much, but this is the maximum that needs to be done to clinch. However in the instance where a driver needs more or less than another, that is what needs to be done (or better) no exceptions (unless the finish changes the tiebreaker).

*Does not include winning driver/owner scenario
