Clinching Scenarios: Craftsman Truck Series – Pocono

This weekend NASCAR heads to Pocono. There is 2 races left until the playoff field is set in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, however there are still a few point scenarios we need to consider. First is the race for the regular season driver/owner championship, and next is drivers who can clinch a playoff spot based on points. Granted there are only a few scenarios that don’t include winning but no matter what else happens in the race Saturday afternoon, if the scenario happens then the ticket is punched to the Craftsman Truck Series playoffs. Likely the drivers will not need this much, but this is the maximum that needs to be done to clinch. However in the instance where a driver needs more or less than another, that is what needs to be done (or better) no exceptions.
