It was primarily the Bubba Wallace and Kyle Larson show at Texas Motor Speedway where Wallace led 111 of 267 laps and Larson led 99.
Larson’s day ended 18 laps early when he got loose racing Wallace. As a result, he slammed hard into the Turn 2 wall.
Rich MARvelous Move of the Race
However, impressive as these stats are, neither of these drivers earned the Rich MARvelous Move of the Race for Texas.
The honor this weekend went to race winner, William Byron.
On the final restart, Wallace led the field to green alongside Chase Briscoe. Byron was sitting in the catbird seat, and on the backstretch, the Hendrick Motorsports driver took the action three wide.
Then, coming out of Turn 3, Byron secured the lead and went on to win the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 400 by 1.863 seconds.

Honorable Mention
For the second week in a row, Carson Hocevar gets a shoutout. Still getting seat time in the No. 42 Legacy Motor Club Chevy, Hocevar turned the heads of some Pit Pass Network staff.
The broadcast seemed to dismiss mentioning it, but on Lap 255, a six-car pile-up brought out a late race caution. Below, you will see Hocevar skirt along the apron, just missing the carnage.
