Trey Burke is a young racer from Houston, Texas who is working hard to climb the NASCAR ladder. He started his racing career at nine years old under the wings of three generations of racers.
Over the years, he has amassed wins in IMCA Sprint Car Series (Texas and National), the Lucas Oil Formula Race Car Series, and the F1600 Championship Series. Additionally, he was named the 2019 National IMCA Sprint Car Rookie of the Year.
In 2022, he made his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut in the No. 20 Young’s Motorsports truck at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
Recently, he caught up with Pit Pass Network to share more about his family’s racing history. He also spoke about being coached by Sage Karam, the story behind his logo, whether he prefers dirt racing or open wheel and stock, and so much more!
Foundation Focus
Trey wanted to highlight the Wings & Wheels Foundation which has been impactful for him and his career.
This organization exists to “help promising young drivers advance to the next level of achievement in their careers.” Wings & Wheels does this through “helping its drivers develop the business and social skills that are necessary in procuring and retaining valuable associations, partnerships, and sponsorships that make motorsports possible.”
Considering the experience and knowledge he gained as one of five drivers in the Wings & Wheels Foundation program in 2023, race fans can prepare to watch him take the racing world by storm.
