For the major national touring series, the racing season is officially over. NASCAR wrapped up its three main series with their championship weekend in Phoenix. Ryan Blaney, Cole Custer, and Ben Rhodes reign as their series champions. They join Alex Palou (IndyCar) and Ryan Newman (SRX) as champions of the five series Pit Pass Network covers. Throughout 2023, the crew at Pit Pass Network have done a series of predictions. Now, it is time for the end of year review of all of the Pit Pass Network predictions. For the Cup Series Playoffs, the Pit Pass Network crew filled out their brackets prior to the Southern 500. There was a point system to determine who would win (similar to what March Madness bracket challenges do). The point system and tiebreaker are below:
- Round of 16: 1 point per correct driver (max of 12 points)
- Round of 12: 2 points per correct driver (max of 16 points)
- Round of 8: 4 points per correct driver (max of 16 points)
- Championship Four: 6 points per correct driver (max of 24 points)
- Correct Champion Predicted: 8 points
If there is a tie in points, the tiebreaker question is: How many laps will the champion lead at Phoenix? Closest to the answer wins.
