Welcome, in this article series we will be reviewing and rating how each driver in the NASCAR Xfinity series has done in the 2023 season (min. 15 races started). Each part will contain 3-4 drivers and have them grouped by organization/satellite team or car manufacturer/future manufacturer teammate as best as possible. The review will include the drivers 2023 season statistics, along with ranks among drivers in 2023 with season ranking since the Playoffs started in 2016. We will also highlight playoff stats, notable streaks accomplished through the year, 2023 Short track (under 1 mile), Small track (1-1.3 mile), intermediate (1.3-1.5 mile), Big track (2-2.5 mile), Road Course, and Superspeedway (drafting tracks) statistics. I will grade each section and give a brief reason why, then give a short overview ending with an overall grade A+ thru F- based on a weighted formula from the grades above. To sum up each team, at the end of their last driver I will give an overall team grade based on the grades for each driver. All grades may take into account underfunded/well-funded cars and experience.

For a guy with experience and in a tier 2 car having just 4 Top 10’s isn’t that good. In addition his in-race stats aren’t too good either, so that’s why he gets a C-.

He ran over half his laps in the Top 15, had a decent Avg. Driver Rating, and finished over half his race in the Top 15 with 1.6 Stage Pts Per Stage. All this gives him a solid C+.
Overview

He’s a rookie essentially in a tier 2 car so his stats aren’t expected to be good, but they got to be better than running 5% of laps in the Top 15. However, his Avg. Finish isn’t bad so he gets a D-.

Overview
– Graf got to try his hand in a JGR car for some races, but he still ended up 23rd in points
– All 3 of Graf’s Top 10’s came in the JGR car, but overall this year he didn’t run or finish well
– The playoffs were more of the same for him, but his 1 JGR start brought him a Top 10
– The best “streak” he had this year was 1 straight Top 10
– He ran awful at Short tracks and had a best finish of only 26th
– His Small track stats are better than his Short track stats, but they are still pretty bad
– Graf wasn’t completely bad at Intermediates, but 3 of the 9 starts were in the JGR car
