Foundation Friday: Bundle of Joy Fund

The Bundle of Joy Fund is dedicated to advocating for infertility education and awareness. They also seek to remove financial barriers by granting monetary awards to couples who require fertility treatments to have their own bundle of joy.
Foundation Friday seeks to spotlight how NASCAR drivers are giving back through their personal foundations. Each week, a different driver and their foundation will be highlighted including who they are helping, notable accomplishments, and how you can get involved in their efforts.

With a mission to “advocate for infertility education and awareness,” they also strive to remove “financial barriers by granting monetary awards to couples who require fertility treatments to have their own bundle of joy.”

The BOJ Fund partners with Reach Clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina to ‘assist with the costs associated with IVF treatments.’

The Process

Many couples who struggle with infertility also need financial assistance on their path to parenthood. Fertility treatments are not cheap, and sometimes, can take multiple rounds of treatments.

Those who find themselves in this situation are encouraged to apply for a BOJ Fund grant through Reach Clinic. There are only two requirements for applicants. First, the applicant must be a full-time resident of North or South Carolina. Secondly, they must have an infertility diagnosis through Reach Clinic.

The clinic will verify all applications. Then, those verified will be submitted to the BOJ Fund board for final review and consideration.

Since the inception of the BOJ Fund in 2015, nearly $1.5 million dollars have been awarded through 109 grants. Ultimately, this has allowed 77 couples to experience the thrill of pregnancy and the joy of parenthood.

Partner for Parents

There are multiple ways to assist the BOJ Fund in its efforts to help those facing infertility. First, donations to the Bundle of Joy Fund are always welcome. Those desiring to do so can make a one-time or recurring monthly donation via the BOJ Fund website.

The upcoming Diamonds are Forever benefit gives donors the chance to celebrate what the BOJ Fund has and continues to do. Attendees will also enjoy a three-course meal, live entertainment, casino games, and more.

The event will take place in Charlotte, NC on December 9, 2023. Tickets cost $350 per person, or grab a crew and purchase a 10-person table for $3,000.

Additionally, businesses interested in sponsoring the Diamonds are Forever benefit are encouraged to discover more information via the benefit page.
