After retiring from full-time racing in 2019, David Ragan has run the occasional race in both the NASCAR Cup Series as well as the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Next month, the two-time Cup Series winner returns to the track. This time, with a familiar home in RFK Racing‘s team, Stage 60.
Ragan kicked off his Cup career with Jack Roush and amassed 30 top-ten finishes and a win at Daytona International Speedway in 2011.
An additional win came at Talladega Superspeedway in 2013 behind the wheel of the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports machine. With his superspeedway background, he will be one to watch as he prepares to run door-to-door with RFK teammates, Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher.
Ragan sat down with Pit Pass Network to talk about his upcoming race and his history with Buescher and Keselowski. Additionally, he spoke on the emotions of giving FRM their first win and so much more. Click below to listen to the full interview ahead of the Daytona 500.
Charity of Choice
David shared that Shriners Hospitals for Children was his Charity of Choice. As a Shriner himself, this has been a long-standing relationship. Over the years, he has brought smiles to patients at many of the hospital locations throughout the United States.
SHC has been a long-time partner of Ragan’s, often sporting their colors on his cars. Numerous children and their families have had the opportunity to take in a race weekend alongside the veteran driver and his team.
