For the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season, there will be 20 races at 19 tracks. Just as in 2023, the season will start with Daytona and end with the finale at Toledo Speedway. Toledo is the series’ home track and will host the finale for the third year running. Eighteen tracks return from the previous season’s schedule. However, Dover Motor Speedway will also be included in the ARCA schedule for the first time.
2023 Recap
In 2023, the stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States, completed its 71st season. When all was said and done, Jesse Love of Venturini Motorsports emerged as the champion of the ARCA Menards Series.
DRIVERS TO WATCH
William Sawalich
William Sawalich started his racing career with Quarter Midgets and Legend cars and quickly succeeded. In 2022, he transitioned to Stock Cars and won 14 races in various series. In 2023, he joined Joe Gibbs Racing.
Despite being only 17 years old, he is expected to contend for the series title this year. However, he will miss the season’s first race due to his age.
Toni Breidinger
Toni Breidinger has recently become a full-time driver for Venturini Motorsports. She is the first female driver of Arab-American descent to compete in any NASCAR national series. Breidinger has established herself as a prominent figure in motorsports by winning 19 races in the United States Automobile Club (USAC). With over five million followers on social media, she is one of the most popular NASCAR drivers on these platforms.
In addition to her racing career, she is a successful model who has appeared in campaigns for Victoria’s Secret, Aritzia, GAP, and FP Movement.
Leland Honeyman, Jr.
Leland Honeyman, Jr. will be full-time in the ARCA Menards Series for Young’s Motorsports. He began his racing career in go-karts and later moved on to Bandolero competition in 2015. Two years later, he was crowned a national champion. He joined the Young’s Motorsports team after a successful 2021 season in the Carolina Pro Late Model Series, finishing as the championship runner-up and winning the annual Hickory Motor Speedway Fall Brawl.
Honeyman debuted in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with Young’s Motorsports in 2022, and made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2023.
Andres Perez de Lara
Andres Perez de Lara has announced that he will continue racing with Rev Racing in the ARCA Menards Series in 2024 as part of NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity campaign. Perez de Lara hails from Mexico City, Mexico and will compete full-time in the series. He made his debut in karting at the age of 11 and has since transitioned to L-A Formula 4 and NASCAR Mexico Trucks.
After competing in the NASCAR Challenge Series in 2021, Perez de Lara won the Challenge Series along with his Rev Racing schedule in 2022. That year, he emerged as the NASCAR Mexico Challenge champion. This will be his second full-time season and third overall in the ARCA series.
