Jeremy Clements is entering his 19th season in the NASCAR Xfinity Season, which also marks the 14th year of Jeremy Clements Racing. In those 19 years, the Spartanburg, South Carolina native has forged his own path through the NXS.

After working through the ranks of go-karts, Modifieds, and Stocks, as well as Late Models and the ARCA Racing Series, Clements took to Pikes Peak International Raceway at the age of 18. This  gave him distinct honor of being one of the youngest drivers to ever qualify for a NXS event.

Despite his race ending early after a crash, the young driver with racing in his blood would not be deterred.

Clements has gone on to amass 37 Top-10 finishes and score two wins. His most recent came at Daytona International Speedway in 2022.

His website notes this is all an impressive feat considering he runs for a “family-owned, single car team that builds its own engines and runs with limited sponsorship.”

Clements sat down with Pit Pass Network ahead of the season opener at Daytona to talk about the upcoming season and what it means for the No. 51 team to have sponsorship lined up for all 33 races.

Additionally, he talked about what drove him to start the team with his father, his late model crash in 2004 which resulted in numerous surgeries, and even the new addition to his family.

Charity of Choice

Jeremy couldn’t pick just one charity, so PPN will make a donation to his two favorite charities.

First, he mentioned Motor Racing Outreach. MRO provides spiritual support for the NASCAR community through biblical counseling, Bible studies in race shops and homes, race-day chapel services and so much more.

The second organization he shared was FR1. First Responders 1st seeks to “provide a ministry of emotional and spiritual support to first responders, strengthening their personal well-being for work and life.” FR1 assists in many ways from attending swearing in ceremonies to bereavement services to financially providing for professional therapy.
