Active/Next Gen Cup Track Stats: Kansas

Last week at Dover we got to see a good Stage 1 and then what every fan loves to see, aero blocking for the win of the Stage 2 and race. This weekend we head to Kansas where unfortunately we will probably see some more of that if the race is close late. Down below you will find different statistics for active drivers and Next Gen races of the NASCAR Cup series here at Kansas Speedway ranging from Most Wins to Best Average Finishes by starting position in the Next Gen era. So read and enjoy these fun fact track stats!
In this post you will only find active and Next Gen stats, if you are looking for all-time stats check out my previous article All-Time Cup Track Stats: Kansas.

Active means any driver who started a race in the 2024 Cup Series season.

The thing that caught my eye when looking at the table above is that there are only 5 active drivers that have never finished out of the Top 30 at Kansas (JHN, Hocevar, Gilliland, Berry, Gragson) but none of them have made more than 4 starts here.

No matter what, after this weekend at Kansas Denny Hamlin will lead still lead all active drivers in Top 5’s here, but without a Top 5 he could lose his lead in best active Top 5%.
