Coca-Cola 600
The greatest day in motorsports culminated in Race City, USA. The NASCAR Cup Series followed up F1 and IndyCar with the longest race in its sport – the Coca-Cola 600. Kyle Larson had hopes to run 1100 miles, but a rain delay in Indianapolis forced him to miss the start of the Coke 600.
The 600-miler started calm in comparision to the 500. William Byron won Stage 1 and Christopher Bell claimed the Stage 2 win.
However, before Stage 3 could finish, storms took the main stage. Just as the race was put under red for weather, Larson made it to his pit box after a quick flight south, ready to jump behind the wheel for the final 151 laps.
Unfortunately, after a rain delay and track drying efforts, NASCAR pulled the plug on the event and declared Bell the winner of the rain-shortened event.
Rich MARvelous Move of the Race
The artificial turf on the front stretch played into the Rich MARvelous Move of the Race.
While racing the weather, Byron went three-wide with Tyler Reddick and Ty Gibbs for his own attempt at The Pass in the Grass.

This move sent him to P3 under the red flag where he would end his night in the abbreviated race.
