The Coca-Cola 374 was a pretty good race, but it had a controversial finish as NASCAR called the race official after rain and humidity dampened the track. This caused fans at the track to boo the winner, Christopher Bell, because of their hatred of the call. Now we head to a racetrack where the racing probably won’t be as good as we’ve seen for the better part of a month since it isn’t an Intermediate, Gateway. Ryan Blaney has fallen on a bit of hard luck as after Charlotte he is on a 2 race DNF streak that now has his Avg. Finish being 16th best among drivers with 6+ starts this year. However, he hasn’t ran awful and we are heading to a Small track this weekend. On these tracks this year he’s ran strong and has finished just as strong. Even better is that this weekend is Gateway where he’s ran extremely well and has finished Top 10 in both Cup races here. Overall, despite Blaney’s bad races of late expect him to turn it around this weekend and finish well within the Top 10.
