The final NASCAR playoff is set to kick off this weekend at Kansas Speedway. After setting their 12 driver playoff lineup, the Xfinity Series will see the next 7 races determine their champion. Between all three playoffs, this one might be the most divisive in terms of predictions. The differences between the 12 drivers in this field are narrow. If not, then there are specialties for some that will benefit them in at least one race or round. It should be an exciting playoff. For the playoff predictions, each round is assigned an amount of points for each correct driver a member gets correct. The points per rounds are as follows:
- Round of 12: 1 pt (maximum of 8 points)
- Round of 8: 2 pts (maximum of 8 points)
- Championship Four: 4 pts
Total available points: 20. Since there could be overlap and a tie, there are 4 main tiebreaker questions. Those are:
- Which playoff driver will win the most races? (1 pt)
- Which non-playoff driver will win a race? (2 pts)
- Will the drivers champion be the same as owners champion? (1 pt)
- Will the eventual champion win Phoenix? (1 pt)
If there is still a tie after the questions, the final tiebreaker will be who guesses the closest amount of laps led by the champion at Phoenix.
