Southern 500
Darlington Raceway played host to the regular season finale for the NASCAR Cup Series. Bubba Wallace led the field to green for the Southern 500. Immediately, there was chaos as Martin Truex, Jr. collided into Ryan Blaney, ending both their races on Lap 3.
Once things settled down, Kyle Larson claimed the opening two stages. However, after a chaotic final stage, Chase Briscoe rose victorious. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver snuck his way into the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.
Rich MARvelous Move of the Race
Briscoe not only won the Southern 500. He also won the Rich MARvelous Move of the Race.
With 26 to go, Briscoe was holding steady in P4, but then?
