All-Time Cup Track Stats: Talladega

The first race of the Round of 12 made life a living hell for most playoff drivers with multiple of them having trouble, and in the end it was another non-playoff driver who won as Ross Chastain bested William Byron. Now we go to another track that will be hell all week for playoff drivers due to its unpredictability, Talladega. Down below you will find different statistics from all of the NASCAR Cup races here at Talladega Superspeedway ranging from Most Wins to Best Average Finishes by starting position. So read and enjoy these fun fact track stats!
In this post you will only find all-time stats, if you are looking for only active drivers stats or Next Gen stats check out my next article Active/Next Gen Cup Track Stats: Talladega.
Active Drivers will be highlighted like so
Active means any driver who started a race in the 2024 Cup Series season.

Richard Brickhouse 09/14/1969
Most Recent Winner: Tyler Reddick 04/21/2024

Talladega has a reputation that you can win from any starting position. However, only 9 times in 110 races has the winner started 20th or worse, with the last time being in 2014.

Don’t look for the Pole winner to win this weekend as only twice in the last 25 years has it happened, and both of those were the Spring race of a year that ended in 7.
