From the intermediate in the mid-west to the superspeedway in Alabama, all three national NASCAR series heads to Talladega Superspeedway. Once again, playoff spots and championship lives are on the line. In the “wild card” round of the Cup Series, Talladega represents a daunting challenge for all 12 playoffs drivers. No one is truly safe heading to the track. Same can be said for the Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series. The Xfinity Series is in the middle of their first round while the Truck Series kicks off their Round of 8. For the Truck Series, a Championship Four spot can be clinched Friday night.
