All-Time Cup Track Stats: Phoenix

Last week at Martinsville we saw some really good racing and tire falloff leading to a Ryan Blaney win, but we also saw some BS racing late from multiple drivers to put a taint on the race. Now we head to the season finale where a 2024 NASCAR Cup season champion will be crowned, Phoenix. Down below you will find different statistics from all of the NASCAR Cup races here at Phoenix Raceway ranging from Most Wins to Best Average Finishes by starting position. So read and enjoy these fun fact track stats!
In this post you will only find all-time stats, if you are looking for only active drivers stats or Next Gen stats check out my next article Active/Next Gen Cup Track Stats: Phoenix.
Active Drivers will be highlighted like so
Active means any driver who started a race in the 2024 Cup Series season.

First Winner:
Alan Kulwicki 11/06/1988
Most Recent Winner: Christopher Bell 03/10/2024
Worst Starting Positions by Winner

T6 1994-30 19 Terry Labonte T10 2013-02 15 Carl Edwards

In the 56 Cup races at Phoenix only 12 times has the winner started 15th or worse, so look for someone starting well this weekend to be the winner.

Only 10 of 54 Pole winners have finished out of the Top 20 at Phoenix, so it’s safe to say that the Pole winner this weekend will have a decent finish at least.
