Welcome, in this article series we will be reviewing and rating how each driver in the NASCAR Xfinity series has done in the 2024 season (min. 15 races started). Each part will contain 3-4 drivers and have them grouped by organization/satellite team or car manufacturer teammate as best as possible. The review will include the drivers 2024 season statistics, along with ranks among drivers in 2024 with season ranking since the Playoffs started in 2016. We will also highlight playoff stats, notable streaks accomplished through the year, 2024 Short track (under 1 mile), Small track (1-1.3 mile), Intermediate (1.3-1.5 mile), Big track (2-2.5 mile), Road Course (left and right turns), and Superspeedway (drafting tracks) statistics. I will grade each section and give a brief reason why, then give a short overview, all ending with an overall grade A+ thru F- based on a weighted formula from the grades above. To sum up each team, at the end of their last driver I will give an overall team grade based on the grades for each driver. All grades may take into account underfunded/well-funded cars and driver experience.
Halfway through the Xfinity Reviews and we come to our first article with no Championship 4 Driver, and there are no playoff teams either as we review RSS Racing.

He was able to get 3 Top 3’s and 2 Stage Wins, but he only had 9 Top 10’s and his Laps in Top 15% along with his Avg. Driver Rating weren’t too impressive. So, he gets a B-.

He was able to get 2 Top 3 finishes in the Playoffs which is more than his Finishes out of the Top 20, and he had a good Avg. Finish too. However, again it was his in-race stats and stages that hampered his grade.

This time it was his in-race and stage stats that helped his grade as he had just 1 Top 10 to 1 Finish out of the Top 20, and his Avg. Finish wasn’t too good either.

For a tier 2 team these stats are really impressive, I mean his Avg. Stage Finish and Avg. Finish were both better than 10.0. In addition, he had 2 Top 3’s and really good in-race stats. So, he gets an A-.

His Laps in Top 15% and Avg. Driver Rating were not that good, but what helped him was that every race he finished between 14th and 22nd. Which isn’t good, but isn’t terrible either.

He did have 1 Top 3 finish, but he also had 3 Finishes out of the Top 20 which led to a mediocre Avg. Finish. In addition, he was mediocre in his runs on these tracks. Hence, the C.
Overview
– Ryan was close to making the Playoffs, but he had to settle for 13th in Driver Points
– 13 of Ryan’s 17 2024 Ranks above are T13th or better, and he had the 9th best Avg. Finish of any qualified driver
– He had 2 Top 3 finishes in the Playoffs and overall he ran well in the Playoffs for a tier 2 team
– His longest Top 10 streak was only 2 races, but he also had a 2 straight Stage Win streak this year
– He was okay on Short tracks as he wasn’t too impressive, or too bad on them
– Small tracks were his worst tracks as he didn’t run great and struggled to finish well too
– Intermediates were great for Ryan as he ran extremely well and finished very well too, getting a couple of great finishes
– Ryan was good on Big tracks, but he couldn’t find a way to finish his good runs in the Top 10
– Road Courses were a struggle for him as he didn’t run well and was consistently mediocre in his finishes
– He was average on Superspeedways as he had 1 great finish, but overall finished mediocre and ran decent

Honestly, there isn’t much to compare him to as he’s a 2nd year driver with a tier 2 team in a basically tier 3 type of car. So, he gets a D because of his Avg. Stage Finish and Avg. Finish ranks, along with the fact he got 1 Stage T10 and a Top 10 finish with only 1 DNF despite not running great.

Overview

His stats should be a good bit better than his teammate above (Kyle), and they are. He got 3 Top 10’s and ran a good bit better, but with him running a few races less than his teammate he gets a better grade.
