2025 is shaping up to be an incredible year for sprint car racing within the Kubota High Limit series. New faces, new tracks, new rules, and the same big payouts are just some of the exciting things coming this year.
Rule Changes
The series announced in late 2024 that the 2025 season would come with a few exciting new rules for the series. These include:
- An in-axle tire inflation system that will only be controllable locally. No remote or OTA
control will be allowed. - Lane choice is now designated to the pole sitter in each heat race, and after the first
start, all subsequent restarts will follow this initial lane choice. - Top wing wicker bill allowance has been adjusted to include up to 1-1/2 inch wicker bills.
All front wing allowances remain the same. - The cars may now include one adjustable shock, controllable from within the cockpit.
- Headers that do not have a muffler or are not straight out the back of the car must be
welded where the bend connects to the header and to the muffler.
Schedule Changes
The series has 61 events planned across 20 different states, including five new states for
this year. Of the 36 event venues planned for the year, 14 are new to the series, with some
notable appearances, including Las Vegas and Route 66.
