All-Time Cup Track Stats: Charlotte

Last week in the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro we got to see some surprisingly good racing for the most part, and the yellow flag literally get thrown en route to Christopher Bell’s 1st career All-Star Race win. Now, we head to a race Bell won last year, albeit because of rain, the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte. Down below you will find different statistics from all of the NASCAR Cup races here at Charlotte Motor Speedway ranging from Most Wins to Best Average Finishes by starting position. So read and enjoy these fun fact track stats!
In this post you will only find all-time stats, if you are looking for only active drivers stats or Next Gen stats check out my next article Active/Next Gen Cup Track Stats: Charlotte.
Active Drivers will be highlighted like so
Active means any driver who started a race in the 2025 Cup Series season.

First Winner:
Joe Lee Johnson 06/19/1960
Most Recent Winner: Christopher Bell 05/26/2024

5 of the last 10 Coca-Cola 600’s to have Pole qualifying have been won by the driver that won the Pole. So, winning the Pole is a good omen for the race this weekend.

There has only been two drivers to sweep all 3 stages in the Coca-Cola 600 and both went on to win the race after winning the Pole. So if a driver sweeps the stages after winning the Pole this weekend expect him to win the race as well.

Running every lap in the Top 15 in a race at Charlotte hasn’t been common as only 20 of 1,418 drivers have done it, and it hasn’t been done in the last 3 races. Even less common is doing this and then winning as only 4 of the 20 have done that.
