All-Time Cup Track Stats: Kansas

Last week at Texas we started a streak of 4 straight point races being at Intermediate tracks with a Joey Logano win after a ton of cautions yet again. Now we head to the track that had hands down the best finish of the 2024 season, Kansas. Down below you will find different statistics from all of the NASCAR Cup races here at Kansas Speedway ranging from Most Wins to Best Average Finishes by starting position. So read and enjoy these fun fact track stats!
In this post you will only find all-time stats, if you are looking for only active drivers stats or Next Gen stats check out my next article Active/Next Gen Cup Track Stats: Kansas.
Active Drivers will be highlighted like so
Active means any driver who started a race in the 2025 Cup Series season.

Most Recent Winner: Ross Chastain 09/29/2024

Kansas has held qualifying for 34 of its 38 races, and out of the 34 Pole winners only 9 finished out of the Top 10. However, most of those were out of the Top 30.

As you might expect after the first few tables qualifying on the Pole at Kansas is a sign of a good race to come, and a not so bad chance at winning the race. Although, that hasn’t happened since 2018.

Surprisingly in the 16 Kansas races since stages were introduced in 2017 no driver has swept the stages in a race.

Martin Truex Jr. is the only driver to lead more than 60% of a race here at Kansas and not win the race, and unfortunately it happened to him twice.
