A busy weekend of racing is hitting the NASCAR scene. All three series will race together for the first time since Texas. Between the three series, there should be some fantastic racing. Charlotte Motor Speedway has been one of the best tracks in recent years. For the Cup Series, the crown jewel Coca-Cola 600 will culminate a long day for motorsports. Meanwhile, the Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series will featured some Cup drivers in their races. Did any of them feature in the prediction groups for this week? Since the Coca-Cola 600 is a crown jewel event, the Cup Series features 4 driver groupings to pick from (same as the Daytona 500 did). The 4 groupings were set by the owner points, with each group segmented every 10 spots. Those 10 drivers were whittled down to 4 per segment based on a random selection. For the two lower series, it is the same format as every other week.
Last week only had one race paying points to the season long battle. Marvin still leads the way over Daniel. However, this week offers the most points possible with 4 stages in the Cup race. Check out the standings heading into this week:
