Last week at Atlanta kicked off the 2025 In Season Challenge and with all the carnage we saw lots of upsets of sorts. However, the biggest takeaway was the race and finish of the year as especially the last 30 laps were absolute cinema resulting in a Chase Elliott win. Next up we head to a track where we don’t know what to expect, but the battle of Ty Dillon and Brad Keselowski should be a good one, Chicago. Down below you will find different statistics from all of the NASCAR Cup races here at the Chicago Street Race ranging from Most Wins to Best Average Finishes by starting position. So read and enjoy these fun fact track stats!
In this post you will only find all-time stats, if you are looking for only active drivers stats or Next Gen stats check out my next article Active/Next Gen Cup Track Stats: Chicago Street Race.
Active Drivers will be highlighted like so
Active means any driver who started a race in the 2025 Cup Series season.

First Winner:
Shane Van Gisbergen 07/02/2023
Most Recent Winner: Alex Bowman 07/07/2024
Worst Starting Positions by Winner
Rank Race Start Pos. Driver Rank Race Start Pos. Driver
1 2024-20 8 Alex Bowman 2 2023-18 3 Shane Van Gisbergen

Based on the 2 races here you need to start Top 10 if you plan on winning this weekend.

Worst Finish by Pole Winner
Rank Race Finish Driver Rank Race Finish Driver
1 2024-20 39 Kyle Larson 2 2023-18 11 Denny Hamlin

Whereas starting Top 10 is key to winning here apparently, winning the Pole is not good as neither Pole winner has finished in the Top 10.
