Last weekend saw Nashville have it’s turn on the schedule, with the Trucks and Cup Series looking to see who could strike a chord as everyone eyes the playoffs. The Xfinity teams are currently enjoying a short break before the summer schedule.

Trucks | Rackley Roofing 200

#71 Rajah Caruth: Perhaps the biggest upset of the weekend belongs to Spire Motorsports’ Caruth. Caruth had speed throughout the weekend, rolling off 10th. Keeping his Chevrolet in contention, the Spire driver would go on to lead the final 51 laps and score his second career win. Caruth’s first win also came with Spire in Las Vegas in 2024.

#7 Corey Day: Spire had a strong weekend in Nashville, with part-time standout Corey Day also showing off his talents. A Hendrick Motorsports prospect, Day started and finished with his Chevrolet in 5th. Day has six series starts in the #7 this season, with Nashville easily being the best result.

#26 Dawson Sutton: Series rookie contender Sutton had an impressive day in Nashville. Methodically wheeling his Rackley W.A.R.-owned Chevrolet to an 11th-place finish after starting 29th. Sutton’s rookie season has been an uphill battle as he acclimates himself to the truck, but Nashville showed what the team is capable of. Sutton has one top ten finish in 2025, coming in Texas.

Cup Series | Cracker Barrel 400

#43 Erik Jones: Legacy Motor Club’s veteran Erik Jones has not had much to brag about thus far in 2025. In what should be a season of slow improvement, LMC’s #43 Toyota team has been bitten by bad luck plenty. The lights shined on Jones in Nashville however, with a 7th-place finish. Jones also has a top five that came in Texas.

#38 Zane Smith: Former truck champ Smith has quietly been building momentum to begin the summer stretch, which continued in Nashville. Carrying sponsor Mystik Lubricants on his Ford, the Front Row Motorsports driver finished 13th after starting 27th. Smith has qualified well, and has four top twenty finishes in the last five races.

#41 Cole Custer: Custer’s Cup return this season with Haas Factory Team has left some things to be desired as we approach the summer months. Nashville was a reprieve for the Ford driver, with a 19th-place finish after rolling off 29th. Custer’s best finish so far this season was a 13th in Talladega, along with another 19th in Texas.
