Fresh From Florida 250
Driver: Grant Enfinger
Organization & Number: CR7 Motorsports, #9
Crew Chief: Jeff Stankiewicz
Spotter: Tim Fedewa
Grant Enfinger qualified P14, however, NASCAR Cup Series driver, Carson Hocevar, qualified ahead of him. To keep the Lucky 13 series pure to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, our focus turned to series regular Enfinger.
Stage 1
As soon as the green flag was in the air, Grant Enfinger found himself four-wide and on the move. By Lap 4, he was running P7 with a mirror full of Ty Majeski. Two laps later, the racing had settled down, and Enfinger was running P10.
Over the next 10 laps, Enfinger held his position until Kaden Honeycutt worked around him. Enfinger noted he was running “a little tight.”
Suddenly, Enfinger tanked to P14 as the No. 9 team worked to diagnose what their driver needed.

With five to go in the stage, he lost another spot while his spotter worked to coach him around nearby trucks. As the stage ended, Enfinger was scored P15 and ready for some changes to the truck.
Stage 2

Enfinger started the second stage in P17 and quickly gained two positions. With 15 to go in the stage, he got in a heated battle with Layne Riggs and Matt Crafton, coming out P14.
Two laps later, Enfinger noted, “Started off loose, but it’s better by itself right now.” However, in the midst of the chaos, he fell back to P15.
Lawless Alan worked his way around Enfinger, and with four to go, he noted he was turning tight.
P16 was the Stage 2 finishing position for the No. 9.
Stage 3
He lined up P20 for the final stage and gained three spots on the opening lap of the final stage.
Lap 72 saw the first caution for incident as Jack Wood went for a spin. Meanwhile, Enfinger had moved to P15.
When the race finally went back green, the caution was immediately in the air as Rajah Caruth spun and wrecked off Turn 2.

Enfinger was scored P14, and the No. 9 team discussed pit strategy. At the last second, Jeff Stankiewicz called Enfinger in for fuel only. He returned to the track in P13 with 44 laps to go.
Three laps later, the caution was out again. Enfinger was scored P12, and Stankiewicz noted the truck was nearly four laps short on fuel.
The team opted to stay on track and gain track position, hoping for a late caution and the opportunity to put on fresh tires later.
New Leader
With 38 to go, the race was red-flagged. But with the pit strategy, Enfinger was scored P1 when the race resumed.
Enfinger brought the field to green with 35 to go, and he sailed ahead. Behind the No. 9, there was a good deal of beating and banging, but the race stayed green.
Enfinger battled with Gio Ruggiero but held the lead.
As Enfinger took 16 to go, Riggs got loose, and Enfinger went to battle with Ross Chastin. Riggs and Chastain were suddenly joined by Corey Heim. In the chaos, Enfinger reclaimed the lead.
With 12 to go, Chastain took the lead, but Enfinger was on his bumper. Hocevar got a big run, and Enfinger fell to P4.
Stankiewicz told Enfinger, “Just go for it. If we run out, we run out.”
With 10 to go, the caution waved for debris, and Stankiewicz called his driver to the pits for fresh tires.

5 To Go
He returned to the track in P14, and Stankiewicz said, “The No. 7 took those tires last time and drove up to the lead. Go be aggressive.”
Fedewa said, “Drive it like you stole it.”
Before the green waved, there was a huge stack up at the stripe.
Well … that didn't go as planned. 👀

Enfinger made it through and restarted P8 for NASCAR Overtime – the first truck on tires.
As Daniel Hemric slammed the wall, Enfinger snuck to the front. Unfortunately, when NASCAR Officials checked timing and scoring under caution, Enfinger was scored P3.
Drivers lined up for a second Overtime restart, and Stankiewicz said, “I like where we’re sitting. Let’s go win this thing.”
Enfinger was lined up directly behind race leader Corey LaJoie, and he dove inside LaJoie into Turn 1. He was scored the race leader when the caution waved again – this time for Wood, Matt Mills, and Toni Breidinger.
Overtime attempt 3 saw Enfinger line up on the front row next to Stewart Friesen.
Friesen got the lead, and as they took the white, Fedewa said, “Time it right.”
But Enfinger didn’t get the push he needed. As Friesen scored the win, Enfinger brought it home in P2.
