FireKeepers Casino 400

Chase Briscoe was once again the fastest man in town, winning his third pole in a row. A quiet opening stage saw Chris Buescher take the Stage 1 win.

However, the second stage saw multiple wrecks, and even a red flag following a hard hit for Alex Bowman. Once things settled down, William Byron claimed the stage win.

With 15 to go, Denny Hamlin went on a tear from P5. With five to go, Hamlin and Byron were door-to-door, wth Ty Gibbs waiting in the wings.

One lap later, Hamlin made a pass for the lead and set sail. As the white flag waved, Byron ran out of fuel, giving Hamlin a commanding lead over Buescher and ultimately, the race win.

Rich MARvelous Move of the Race

Before winning the FireKeepers Casino 400, Hamlin turned heads on Lap 58.

The Rich MARvelous Move of the Race is voted on by Pit Pass Network team members following the checkered flag of each NASCAR Cup Series race.

While racing alongside Kyle Larson, Hamlin got loose, but quick hands kept his No. 11 Toyota Camry in line.

He lost a handful of spots at that time. However, when the checkered flag waved, he had gained them back and was in position to capitalize on the day.
