Last week at Indy we saw a typical Indianapolis race where passing was limited and so was the on track action, apart from restarts. However strategy was prevalent and Bubba Wallace was on the right strategy as he outlasted 2 overtimes to win. Next up we head to a track where the Cup Series has only visited once and it left fans a little disappointed as well, Iowa. Down below you will find different statistics from all of the NASCAR Cup races here at Iowa Speedway ranging from Most Wins to Best Average Finishes by starting position. So read and enjoy these fun fact track stats!
In this post you will only find all-time stats, if you are looking for only active drivers stats or Next Gen stats check out my next article Active/Next Gen Cup Track Stats: Iowa.
Active Drivers will be highlighted like so
Active means any driver who started a race in the 2025 Cup Series season.

It’s only been one race, but no Cup driver has won an Iowa race and the Pole in the same weekend, and no driver has swept both stages as seen in the tables below.
