Go Bowling at the Glen

Ryan Blaney put down the quickest lap in Saturday’s qualifying session, affording him a front row starting spot for Sunday’s Go Bowling at the Glen. After an uneventful opening 20 laps, Chris Buescher snagged the opening stage win.

Following some varying strategy from teams, Blaney worked his way back into the lead for the Stage 2 win.

Once all was said and done, SVG claimed the win after running off with a nearly 12-second lead.

Rich MARvelous Move of the Race

The Rich MARvelous Move is voted on by Pit Pass Network team members following the checkered flag of each NASCAR Cup Series race.

With less than 10 laps remaining in the race, John Hunter Nemechek got loose and nearly clobbered Zane Smith.

Nearly being the keyword.

Fortunately, JHN kept his No. 42 out of the wall and out of the No. 38.

Unfortunately, he was running 24th at the time and finished the day P32.

But this move allowed the race to stay green. And, it likely helped to avoid multiple overtime restarts and the late-race carnage we saw in the other two races this weekend.
