While the Xfinity Series had a rare off weekend, the trucks and Cup Series teams headed North to New Hampshire. Typically a track that produces surprise wins and drama, the 2025 version of New Hampshire was no exception.
While Ty Gibbs is looking forward to Kansas, here are some of the drivers that became a blip a radar up in Loudon, New Hampshire.

EJP 175
Race Winner: Corey Heim
#44 Andres Perez: Perez continues to show late season momentum with Niece Motorsports, having a career run in New Hampshire. While the results do not equal effort due to a late race accident, the former ARCA champ started his Chevrolet 20th, led 47 laps, and nearly scored his first career truck win. The accident relegated Perez to 15th at the end.
Since joining Niece Motorsports late this season, Perez has suddenly shown speed, not finishing worse then 16th since Darlington.
#62 Mike Christopher, Jr.: Another nice surprise in New Hampshire was late model standout Christopher and HALMAR-Friesen Racing’s #62 team. Making his series debut, Christopher started his Toyota 29th. Quickly showing he could adapt quickly, Christopher stayed out of trouble, and finished 13th in his series debut.
Christopher’s uncle, Ted was a legendary driver in NASCAR’s late model division. Following in his footsteps, Christopher is starting to gain traction on a national level on his own.

#26 Dawson Sutton: Rookie contender Sutton also had a strong showing in New Hampshire, continuing late season improvement with his Rackley W.A.R. team. Starting 21st, Sutton brought his Chevrolet home in 14th.
While the season has been a struggle for Rackley W.A.R. Racing driver, Sutton collected his third straight top twenty finish in New Hampshire. Sutton has one top ten thus far, scoring a 9th-place finish in Texas.

Race Winner: Ryan Blaney
#21 Josh Berry: Berry and his Wood Brothers Racing crew had what could be considered one of the best comebacks of the season in New Hampshire. While Berry’s recent bad luck has been well documented lately, the No. 21 team would not be denied.
Berry qualified his Ford third, mixing it up with the leaders (leading ten laps) most of the race before bad luck came calling again. Despite being involved in two seperate incidents during the race, Berry’s battle-damaged No. 21 still showed serious speed and finished 2nd.
#71 Michael McDowell: McDowell and his Spire Motorsports crew continue to come together in their first season together. This continued in New Hampshire, with McDowell collecting an 8th-place finish after qualifying 11th.
New Hampshire was McDowell’s fourth top ten this season, with an average finish of 19th through 30 starts this season.

Gragson previously finished 14th in Darlington, followed by 30th (Gateway) and 23rd in Bristol.
