Toni Breidinger is a 23-year-old Arca Menards Series driver for Venturini Motorsports. She was the 1st female Arab-American Driver to compete in a NASCAR National Series.
What is your favorite track to race at? It’s a tie between Daytona and Phoenix
Do you have a pre-race routine? If so, what is it? I’m always hydrating as much as possible before the race starts, and I meet with my team and go over our race plan.
What is the most memorable moment in your career? My first start at Daytona and becoming the first Arab American female to race in NASCAR.
Is there another driver that you consider an inspiration and/or a mentor? If so, who and why? Lewis Hamilton is my favorite racer. I really look up to what he does both on and off the track.
How did you get your start in racing? What track/series and what kind of car? I started racing go karts when I was 9 with my twin sister Annie. My dad drove past a billboard advertising go kart classes at Sonoma Raceway and took us for fun and we both fell in love with the sport.
When you first started racing what was your dream, Was it NASCAR or one of the open wheel series? When I first started racing my dream was to do literally everything. F1, IndyCar, NASCAR, and drag racing!
If you could go back and do-over one moment in your career what would it be? There are so many races where you can think “what if” where you think what would’ve happened if you didn’t make that little mistake, or if you chose the top instead of the bottom, but I try not to dwell on anything. I believe everything happens for a reason. I’d say there isn’t a race I’d want to do over.
Looking ahead to 2023, What are your goals? To keep learning and improving. I’m a rookie at all the tracks this year so I’m excited to have more knowledge and confidence going into the races next year. I’m really looking forward to be competing in the inaugural GR86 series.
