Talladega ran it’s first race in 1969 and last week we saw 72 lead changes, among the most ever in a Talladega race, which it was great right? Well, with all the fuel saving it was more about going slow than fast. Up next we go to another track that started hosting Cup races in 1969, but has a completely different style of racing and where drivers will run 100% almost all race, Dover. Down below you will find different statistics for active drivers and Next Gen races of the NASCAR Cup series here at Dover Motor Speedway ranging from Most Wins to Best Average Finishes by starting position in the Next Gen era. So read and enjoy these fun fact track stats!
In this post you will only find active and Next Gen stats, if you are looking for all-time stats check out my previous article All-Time Cup Track Stats: Dover.
