South Point 400
With four races left in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season, Denny Hamlin claimed the pole for the South Point 400. Lap 72 forced an early exit for Playoff contender Ryan Blaney, after he cut a tire and slammed the wall hard. This gave fans a three-lap shootout to end the stage, with William Byron taking the stage win.
Green flag pit stops in the middle of the second stage saw numerous drivers tagged with penalties, shaking up the field a bit. When the green-white-checkered waved to end the second stage, it was Kyle Larson out front.
With 30 laps to go, a wild incident ended Byron’s day and allowed drivers to mix it up with pit strategy to end the race.

Another crazy incident brought out a lengthy caution and shook up the field again.
Drivers lined back up with 14 to go, and within five laps, Chase Briscoe, Larson, and Hamlin were nose-to-tail. With four to go, Hamlin took the lead from Briscoe and set sail with the Sount Point 400 win.
Rich MARvelous Move of the Race
In the carnage of the last incident, Tyler Reddick caught our eye.

The Rich MARvelous Move of the Race is voted on by Pit Pass Network team members following the checkered flag of each NASCAR Cup Series race.

In that, Reddick opted to run high and avoid the melee.

Now that you see him, go back and re-watch. We’ll wait…
Pretty MARvelous, right?
This move allowed Reddick to stay in the game and finish the night P5.
