Roulette Recap follows a randomly selected driver throughout a race to break down their efforts. There is no telling ahead of time how the race will go. The driver could face calamity on the opening lap or start from the rear and win the race. With that, may the odds be ever in the driver’s favor.

Stage 1
In the first five laps, Anthony Alfredo jumped from P21 to P16, and he radioed in, “loose in traffic.” He maintained his position just outside the top 15 until Lap 12.

At that point, he worked around Harrison Burton and was told his car would start to come to him. He continued to manage and worked to P13 by Lap 18.
Crew chief, Josh Graham, informed his driver, “Entry and brake is very similar to the (No.) 88 (Kyle Larson).”
On Lap 25, Alfredo worked around Corey Day for P12. Graham said, “Two more spots for points.” At that point, Alfredo set his eyes on Austin Hill. Following in Hill’s wake, he battled and passed Hill for P10.

With 10 to go in the stage, he was one of the fastest cars on track. He was instructed to stay disciplined and in his rhythm.
Two laps later, he won the battle with William Sawalich for P9. With two to go, Sawalich got back around Alfredo.
One lap later, Alfredo radioed in, “I think my right rear is coming apart.”
It held on and finished the stage P9 for two points on the day. He told his team, “So loose, I couldn’t even get wide open.”
Graham noted, “Nice work! Probably a top-three car there.”
Stage 2
Before coming to the pits, Graham added, “That was really fun to watch!”
Following a crazy time on pit road, some adjustments, fuel, and fresh tires, Alfredo lined up P13 for the short, 35-lap stage. He lost a position in the opening laps but quickly reclaimed his restart position.

Despite feeling some tightness, he was reminded that it would take about 15 laps for his car to come back to him.
Lap 73 had Alfredo claiming P12 and being told, “There it is! Fourth fastest car!” With 10 to go in the stage, he claimed P11 and was working hard to jump into the top 10.
One lap later, he worked around Sheldon Creed for the points spot. A couple more laps ticked by, and Alfredo worked to P8.
With three to go, he worked around Day for P7, and once again, he was running top-four lap times to finish the stage.
The team discussed the tightness Alfredo was feeling and weighed their options on adjustments.
Stage 3
He returned to the track in P13 with 49 to go and was given a reminder to be patient and let his car come to him.
A shake-up on the restart had him sitting in P18, but he kept his eyes forward.
He claimed P15 and was told, “Better than the next two.”
Graham told him, “Matching lap times with the leader,” as Alfredo worked to P13 with 32 to go.

Alfredo began to make quick work of the cars ahead of him after getting around Jesse Love. He was reminded to manage his tires. He said, “Yeah, it’s a lot. I gotta chill for a minute.”
Graham responded, “If that’s him chillin’, I’m good with it.” Spotter Ryan Blanchard noted, “When you settle in, you gain lap times.”
As he broke into the top 10, the caution waved when Hill, Kyle Sieg, and others wrecked on the back stretch.
Graham promised his driver that a clean stop was coming his way, and the team would pull off a top five.
Alfredo returned to the track in P11 and was told, “You know how these things work. We’ll just capitalize.”
The green waved with 15 to go, and he was told to be patient. He lost a position in the opening lap, but with nine to go, he was in a four-way battle.
While banging doors, he managed to hang on to P12, and as Justin Allgaier rode off with the win, Alfredo brought it home in P12.
Graham said, “We overcame a lot today. It’s something to be proud of.”
However, Alfredo wasn’t happy. He said, “It’ll take me a while to get over this one.”
